The current line-up of Ross Millar, Jack Rowberry, Gavin White, Gordon Barclay and Jordan Laird formed in early 2009. Since March 2009 a whirlwind of gigs and recording sessions have seen Pose Victorious rapidly ascend the ranks of the Scottish new music scene supporting the likes of Tango In The Attic, Sergeant and The Paddingtons as well as receiving airplay from Jim Gellatly (New Scottish Music Show) and Gill Mills (NME Radio).
The bands first rough demo landed them a manager as well as bringing them to the attention of indie super producer Owen Morris (The View, Oasis, The Verve, Ash) who quickly took them under his wing, The band have spent the last six months working closely with Owen to produce their first 3 track EP, which will be released on the 25th of February 2010. The band will also be off on a small Scottish tour to promote the EP before heading down to London to play The
Dublin Castle and Alan McGee’s’ indie club night ‘Death Disco’ at The Notting Hill Arts Club.
2010 is shaping up to be an exciting time for the young lads with gigs being line up all over the country and with an eye firmly set on the upcoming festival circuit.
